chief strategist & founder
2017 was my silver jubilee working in the advertising industry, and I've been lucky enough to work in some wonderful agencies with some of the very best talent, brands and clients.
Starting as a grad at Lowe on Tesco, I moved to DFGW to learn more about Planning from the fab Gary Duckworth. Since then, from AMV BBDO, Ogilvy and Havas, to adam&eveDDB and Mother, I have loved working on heart-of-the-nation brands as diverse as Sainsbury’s, Boots and the BBC; and on global brands like Dulux and Wrigley.
I’ve nurtured two Top 20 London strategy departments, and helped to manage those agencies at the executive board table. I'm a Chief Strategy Officer, and featured in Campaign Magazine's 'A' List 2015-2017.
Salt of the Earth brings me together with a network of talented independent partners, and friends, that I’ve been lucky enough to meet over the years: from photographers to semioticians, ethnographers to fieldwork recruiters–the very best in their field.
I’m a warm, no nonsense human being. I smile a lot. I’m bound to give you a hug at some stage. But when it comes to brands, I have an inner Rottweiler. Once I get my teeth in, I'll not let go until we get you to a really great place.
